Vanity Girl was really proud to be honored by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as an Economic Development leader.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
The West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored five at the annual State of The City (#SOTC2013) on June 26, 2013.
The honors went to Authentic, Cabo Cantina, Koontz Hardware, LASC, and Vanity Girl Hollywood who also served as panelists to share their insight about their success as small businesses, moderated by Leonard Lanzi, Executive Director of Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA).
In his capacity at LAVA, Len works with its board of directors to direct the strategic plan and organize educational and informational programs within the venture funded business ecosystem in the greater Los Angeles region.
Hany Haddad, Chair of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce who also served as a panelist, quoted, “We continue to seek new ways to strengthen the West Hollywood community through small business development and these five businesses are true examples of how small business supports communities economically.”
Crew & Glam Squad:
One of the fun things I get to do serving on the Board of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, is welcome other entrepreneurs to the Chamber and participate in their official Ribbon Cuttings. The local politicians come out – people rooting for the business and we just get to celebrate the hard work and passion of a business owner.
And, this is a beauty biz to boot so you know I had to come say, “Bon Jour.”
