Most Creative Businesses in West Hollywood

Creative City Awards: Honoring Innovation in Business | West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce | West Hollywood, CA.

Tonight, the Chamber will honor some of the most creative business in West Hollywood.  Some of our faves have been nominated.  Last year, Vanity Girl was nominated for Creative Communications, for the way that I’ve been able to put my brand on the map — with a little bit of Online Fame plus a little bit of Offline elbow grease.  I lost out to a little known company called HBO (hello!), but honestly!  That was truly a case of, “I’m just happy to be nominated!”

At any rate, this year I found myself behind the camera, producing some of the pre-event pieces and even working on capturing the night.  More of that to come – but in the meantime make sure to click on the link above to see if one of your favorite WeHo Businesses have been nominated!

Sponsor Spotlight:: Capitol Drugs – Where Alternative and Traditional Therapies Unite

Last week, Capitol Drugs CEO Ruth Tittle and I met over lunch at Kitchen 24 to talk about Making Strides Against Breast Cancer West Hollywood. Ruth and I serve together on the West Hollywood Chamber Board, and she is a cornerstone here in the West Hollywood community … especially when it comes to health and wellness issues. Her name kept coming up during our committee meetings because we really wanted Capitol Drugs and Ruth onboard.

We are so pleased she said yes! Breast cancer is an issue that she cares deeply about and she was thrilled to see the American Cancer Society address it on such a local level with our very own Strides. She is the official sponsor of the Survivor activities and will be adding some cool goodies to our Survivor SWAG bags.

“It’s a no-brainer to say yes,” said Ruth in her warm yet straightforward way. “Breast cancer affects all of us.”

If you would like to celebrate your survivorship with us this weekend or donate items to the Survivor SWAG Bag, please reach out to us on Facebook.

To thank Capitol Drugs for their continued leadership in the Health & Wellness of the West Hollywood Community, please tweet them @capitoldrugs. You can also stop in an pick up your walker papers there.
